What we do

Since 2006, CurtainUp Kids Musical Theater Company has brought the
excitement of musical theater to hundreds of NYC kids, ages 6 to 16.
Through dance, drama and vocal training, we teach each musical
from the inside out, providing young performers the
skills and confidence they need to perform at
an off Broadway venue in NYC.

Our students have successfully mounted The Wizard of Oz, Charlie Brown,
Annie and Peter Pan as well as musical revues of The Sound of Music,
West Side Story, Fiddler, Hairspray and Bye Bye Birdie.

They have presented their work at the Producers Club, Players Theatre,
13th Street Rep Theatre, the Kraine Theatre and Stella Adler Theatre.

All 6 to 16 year olds are welcome, never an audition required. Our goal is
to provide the positive skills and experiences that are unique to
musical theater, that all kids can carry with them on
every path they choose for their lives.
